I know its a hell of a high bar I set, I know, and everyone's going to have their own ideal-mix in this regard.....

Yea, perhaps “ the bar raised too high” Zolod is a special artist for me. I’ve been playing and following his released from the very first track I heard somewhere in 2002 or 2003 (I think) when he was part of parasence project. I played many many times his tracks and his music always lift the crowd on some very dead dance floors. I just know that some tracks can be lined up better and mixing could be done more precise to create a journey feeling that always present in “almost” each of Zolods tracks. Thus, creating a trip feeling for the whole mix :)
Perhaps I’m judging you too hard but as I say Zolod is a very special artist for me.

wish you all the best!

I kinda was going for a bouncing-between-Zolod-styles sound but I can see what you mean...

Im beginning to doubt myself, whether or not i really like it, or did the best i could, or arranged the tracks as best I could...

I guess I think of Zolods tracks as having a few different distinct sounds;

The experimental-Terminator stuff, like Phenix and Beyond the Sea
the smooth stuff like Nochnoy Dozor, Scary Boubles, Tribal Dance,
the hard 'Really Russian' stuff like Mosgorsvet, Iron Punk
the silly ICQ, Big Noise tracks
the hypnotic Depravation Chambers, Maxeril, Res Evil

I tried to encompass all the different sounds without making it too up-and-down.

though the older it gets the less sure i am that i did a good job...

Well at least people are enjoying it
