Hey Andy! I had a question to do with assigning the knob to the macro controls in Surge, when using Logic as the DAW. In your "Blair Synth Project" tutorial you were using Abelton. I tried my best to follow along and everything went smoothly until I got to the part where you assigned ALL of the LFO's Rates at one time to the Macro control (C-1). I tried to do this in Logic, however Im having difficulties assigning or mapping my knob to the macro control (C-1 to the Rate of all 4 LFO's). It keeps wanting to assign it to just LFO 1 or LFO 2's etc.'s Rate and not all 4 LFO's Rate at once on the Macro Control (C-1). At this point im stuck... Any suggestions? Sorry if my question is confusing or worded wrong, but I tried my best to explain my problem, plus I'm still new to all of this stuff and the Lingo...Hehe. Thanks for the help Andy! Much Appreciated! :drinks

Hey doodz :roll

I've been meaning to figure out how to make youtube videos for the last 15 years or however long youtube has existed, and I finally did it earlier tonight!

I decided to make a quick little video demonstrating how to make a family of closely related basic synth sounds using a built-in Ableton synth called Operator.

The video is not the greatest, but I will make more, and they will get better. I promise. Once I get more comfortable with the recording process, I'll do some cooler videos. The sounds get kinda neat around a minute in.

I do believe that there are some useful sounds in there somewhere if you stop the video in the right spots 8-) so I hope you enjoy, and maybe one person will find it to be helpful or at least entertaining to see the stupid faces I pull occasionally when I'm pleased with some noise that my computer makes.

Also, I don't know if we can embed youtube videos here, but I'll investigate that matter at a later date, possibly tomorrow.

Thx for those great vids.... ;)
