yes, around 10 euro i think. 10-12 euro.
dont know because i dont travel by train often but i saw it in the internet. it is not far from berlin.
my problem with the travelling up to there is that i dont have an access to my msn any more. the old laptop crashed completely and so on. so that is why i am writing it here but it is not the right place i think:).
i hope that the place is not far from the train station in case i go by train....otherwise i will not go. and i guess i will be there only for the second half or for the end. i prefer to be there only in the night.

hey thanks guys!
someone over at Goabase just told me that:
"the easiest way to find the cheapest tickets is to find german (or other knowing) people who also want to go to vetschau...
in germany we have tickets called "ländertickets", and if you go with more then 1 person *gg*
its cheaper to get one of this tickets because up to 5 people can share one of these...
the "brandenburgticket" what you need to go to vetschau is about 27,00 euro...
27,00€ : 5 = 5,40€ ; )"
I am travelling from UK with girlfriend and we arrive schoenefeld on friday 3rd july at 15:55, so if anyone is going to be around the ostbahnhof around then (well a little bit later, need to get from schoenefeld to ostbahnhoff etc..) maybe we can get very cheap train tickets. Also I was looking on bahn.de and maybe it's actually easier, if arriving in schoenefeld, to just take a train from there and change at Königs Wusterhausen to get to Vetschau?
Otherwise, we are not sure yet if we are going to rent a car instead so if anyone is interested in sharing the price of a cheapish car rental then let me know
@timewavezero: maybe this would be good for you

someone at Goabase just posted some more useful info about the Berlin-Brandenburg ticket:
"If my memory serves me well, a ticket from Berlin to Vetchau was around €11 in 2007. It's probably more expensive now. However, for all those of you traveling as a group of two or more people who arrive by bus or plane and than need to come to the main train station (or any other station from where the train departs to Vetchau i.e. Zoologischer Garten, Friedrichstraße and Ostbahnhof), it is best to buy the "Berlin-Brandenburg landticket". The reason is that with this ticket (without purchasing an additional one) you can use the S-Bahn (city train) and/or any regional train to arrive to one of the mentioned stations and from there depart to Vetchau. The Berlin-Brandenburg ticket can be bought from a ticket-machine and it costs €27, from a station ticket offices or from a train attendant on board in which cases it costs €29."
looks like I'm most likely gonna get the train. gettin' ready for some crazyness too hehe

well actually probably yes, i am interested. i guess i will have to take a train this time. my only problem, as i said above, is that i will be working in a film project in a hotel on an island so i dont know if i will arrive on time.
may be you give me your number , so that i can call or send an sms before that( on friday 3rd july at 15:55) if i can be there on time.
i am really nor sure about it though....

Futant_Mutant, one more thing.
you asked about the cars.
it is relatively cheap to rent one.
you can have one for 20 euros as well.
it is not good to be without a car on a festival in nordern germany because sometimes it is really much too cold outside and raining. or at least for me it is very difficult to imagine that i can do without one. on the other side it is not good to drive a car after a festival in germany because the police are sometimes checking you if you have smoked anything in the last three days and then take your licence away. so i am not gonna drive.
but if you and your girlfriend are interested, i can check immediately and then tell you. it is the better alternative because of much more convenience.
i cant really imagine going there with the tent on the back wearing on foot. done it for years earlier but in the last years not really often in germany. also there is always the possibility that you lose your stuff while dancing in the night because someone came into the tent. anything can happen. so actually i am very likely to rent a car but i cant drive it because of smoking. dont wanna lose my licence.

wow 20 euros to rent a car is amazingly cheap... this smoking thing you mention makes me worried though. Don't think I want to have any problems with the German police, so I think we are definitely going to get the train. Jessy told me that the shuttle by Frank runs as long as the trains run so it should be ok.

well i believe the police is more tolerant towards people who are not citizens of germany. i am a citizen and they would take my licence immediately. ( 20 euro per day i meant)
thanks for pm. i have your number now:).
btw people . GOOD NEWS, it is gonna be very warm the next week according to the prognose!
i am still confused because i cant visualize this event and me being there. but anyway, with or without me:).
