The best i heard so FAr :roll D:

Felipe Coronel (born February 19, 1978), better known as Immortal Technique, is a hip hop MC and political activist. Most of his lyrics focus on socio-political issues. The views expressed in his lyrics are largely a mixture of left-wing political commentary on issues such as poverty, religion, and racism. He also focuses on the harsh realities of criminality in the housing projects of New York City's slums.

Although he has been offered a deal with at least one major record label, he has never signed to any. Immortal Technique has voiced a desire to keep control over his production, and has made statements in his music that he is very aware that it is record companies, not the artists themselves, who profit the most from mass production and marketing of music.

He releases his music through, and is also the president of, Viper Records. However, to reach wider audiences, Immortal Technique's next projects will be distributed by Babygrande Records.

Hip Hop was one of the first genres I started to listen to... or the first LP´s I got...

My fav song as an kid with my fav Hip Hop band "2 Live Crew"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZ1i1uvZhGw

Haha... I was 7 year when I listened to this and my mom bought me 2 LP´s with them ;)

But I don´t listen to it anymore... can listen to some old tracks from this group... but hate the Hip Hop genre nowdays... to much Gansta in it and it just makes me laugh... atleast 2 live crew sang about nice things such as pussy and free speach etc ;) :cs

no and don't need to ... kind of too far from me and my location ..

come on man r u hip-hop promoter?

anyhow hip-hop is a old & lame, there no more artists like from the end of the 70's till the beginning of 90's where this culture meant something !!! today this is one big money machine and for me it sucks

please come into the 21st century where most of already are

and faxinadu was right!!! why this topic is posted here in a first place when there are hip-hop discussion forums

Haha sorry for laughing, but respect is the key here.. If you dont
like it, fine.. But you dont need to call it lame, old and
everything was much better before and so on.

There is just as much underground stuff going on now, as it was in
early 90s! Maybe more with the internet "revolution"..

And yeah, I think its good to discuss things..Thats why we have this
area @ Triplag -> Music and beyond...

if laughing is expressing your feelings is fine ;)
it a free world we are living in and i'm also free to call the today's hip-hop lame because this word is expressing my feelings ...

my free part of the discussion

boom :cheers
