Ganika is die hard, genuine, hard core. right on :bangin :bangin :bangin

I listen to most all electronic music: techno, ambient, breaks, electro, but my love is psytrance...ALL forms of it. I prefer dark psy but I really love all things psy.

I also listen to and play in an industrial band.

don't tell anyone, but sometimes I can be caught listening to some indie rock like 'pavement' or 'hot snakes'

oh yeah, I am an old school goa head too. yay for Prana!

:cheers

I listen to everything but rap and most mainstream music. Classical is STILL one of the genres I listen to almost daily.

Currently, Im big on North African sounds mixed with electronica (Cheb I Sabbah, Burhan Ocal) and "nuevo-flamenco" like Ojos de Brujo.

Been getting back into a bit of black metal (not a fan of the other genres of metal though) like Burzum, Negura Bunget and Ved Buens Ende.

well i looked at ur post and decided to search the music u pointed out.
I ended on youtube listening to cheb and sabbah and i really appreciatte what i was hearing, he has a video there where he was playing on a record store with a belly dancer and i had never heard somehing like that before its a mix of algerian music with progressive trance and drum and base, really cool and something new to me. Tks for introducing me to that, and i would like to know if u know somewhere where i can find dj sets of him, cause i heard samples from his albuns and its not the same type of music, but they are interesting anyway, altough im looking forward for his dj sets cause i imagine portugal its not in his plans for making a performance. Tks :cheers

These days its almost all electronic.
A lot of deep foresty psy, some suomi.
Some chillout electronic and dubby stuff along the Bluetech, Pitch Black, Kilowatts direction.

For "rock" music I appreciate two angles these days:
I find myself liking really proggy or mathy stuff for rock. That's the composition/technique angle.
I also like wet shoegazey mellow stuff sometimes. That's the production angle.

But I spend more time trying to create music than listening to music lately. Something I need to change.
