ve been wanting to put this together since January of 2006 when I heard the bad news... I never felt quite up to making a real fitting tribute, but then the universe told me it was time by returning my Deja Vu Fabrique cd to me, that I had given up as lost.
Here is my tribute and eulogy to Zolod, in thanks for his wonders left behind that have inspired and delighted, and continue still, since first I heard them.
I put together a little ambient piece, and wrote a little poem about those loved ones of all ours, who have gone ahead of us on the path, to where we can't follow. Celebrate the time had, and give thanks to the wonders left behind. Sometimes the divine walk among us as flesh, but they must return to their true home after their time is up.
Bless you Victor, may your further journeys beyond the beyond bring you to paradise...

Mixed with Ableton in realtime, made sure to mmake it as perfect as i could. I used almost all the tracks of Victor's that I could dig out of my collection, all ripped either as FLAC or WAV.

yeah... glitch in the file... THATS WHAT IT WAS
actually that was me, getting carried away with the faders
what can i say, i admit it, i made an arse of myself, like a 2 bit booty house n00b all babyshoes and no eqs...
Thankfully i had the presence of mind to mix it with Ableton.
So a few DEL pressings later, and I have the REAL Zolodarenko eulogy.
The other was practice, Zolod deserves that, and the clean final, REALLY FINAL version taht resulted. Fire burns away impurities, leaving only the pure metal behind
Sorry for the false start, the new version sounds SO MUCH BETTER

I first heard Zolods work on Nowhereland, which I wound up getting from psyshop in like, October 05, and it blew my head apart, was love at first feel  But then the sad news... Or glad, depending on how one views this plane of existence I barely began to love when my loves object went ahead along the path, where I cant yet follow... His work has influenced not only my own but how I view psytrance in general, realizing its just fine to play full power tracks, during the day, or anytime  And they dont have to have full facial inexorably inyourface instrumentation, they can in fact, have subtleties, and even QUIET elements

i usually do not post negative comments......
but Zolod is the most fav artist of mine. I could not listen your mix Joe. sorry mate. It is just some Zolod popuri mashup. 
I do not think Abelton worked well for you in this mix.

Really? The new version? I took everything except simple transition blends out, so Im not really sure what you mean by mashup...
I know its a hell of a high bar I set, I know, and everyone's going to have their own ideal-mix in this regard.....
