Which VST's do you use. Compressor, Bass Enhancer? EQing?

I always put an EQ @ next to 2nd last effect in the chain, 2nd last is the sidechain and i reserve last for sends. Other than those, usually I keep my bass clear, only use effects in transitions and wierd breaks.

Just a quick question

when you say keep the bassline clear, what do you do to make it sound so good in the end without the fx and plugins?

just curious mate :blush

You just make it sound perfect in your synth. I used to put all kinds of bass boosters, distortion, reverbs, compressors, etc. on it, until I started playing around with the synth. Learn the synth = get ur bass. :D

Yes I think that's right but not every Synth got all those functions and sometimes an external effect is much better than a Synthinternal!
