Last days of Triplag webradio?

Dear friends,

Here it is, a call for help to those who loves Triplag and enjoys broadcast from our darkpsy and trip chill channels.

With recession hitting Ireland and taxes are on a raise I simply do not have enough money to support webradio for next year. It cost 1200 euro to maintain 2 streams. Money comes directly from my pocket and I can no longer afford to keep it going. Unfortunately I have no other option as to close 2 Triplag webradio channels at the end of this year.

Will it be last days of Triplag?

However there are few options available to save the radio.

- Donations and Subscriptions. A simple fact that if every listener donates 5 USD per month webradio can function without a problem and we can plan further improvements.
- Buy Triplag CDs and T-shirts from Triplag shop http://www.triplag.com All income from the sales will go directly to Triplag webradio fund.

- become a sponsor of Triplag webradio. With all appropriate credits. Based on details of a sponsorship we can place your name on triplag.com, on Triplag Music CDs etc...

Especially as Master Margherita only recently asked me donate some chill mixes. I'm impressed with the site and as I do still buy cd's will certainly look at what's available on here. But like yourself I've been hit by the recession too and have to limit what I purchase.

Unfortunately money thing is major problem in the psy scene and that is very sad....well, we got to do something for sure to keep Triplag radio online !!!
....just an idea....let's make a Label party where all artists/dj's would play for free, so like a charity party to collect the money...i hope all label artists/dj's would gladly support that...

I understand that not everyone can afford to donate and strugeling themsevs.

I already deeply gratefull to the DJs & artists who are supporting Triplag Music label. Unfortunately CD sales are far from making a profit to cover webradio exepnses.

I do not know any party organiser who will agree to make a donation-party for Triplag. Last year I was busy with label/website/full time work and did not look after my bookings and connections.
So cannot really suggest anything here.

This call to the community is a last resort.
I was hoping that I can recover money from someone who owes me enough to keep the radio going for another year. Then this post will not be needed. Unfortunately person is just keep promissing and I need to act now if we want to keep radio for next year.

I could just switch off radio this year already but we have a community and I'm sure you need to know that we did all possible to save the radio.

Currently radio is already running on "emmergency" fund - sales generated from Triplag shop this year. But next year fund is still 0

I will put up some of my ideas around how to do this.. We are such a big group of creative souls, so for sure 12 payments of 100 Euro is possible !!

yes, Kris, that my hope too. Few people who can be Triplag patrons for just 100 eu a year. It is not much if you have stable job and love darkpsy radio.

We can do it ourself, alot of us do small (and big) parties sometimes and this is another reason to make a party, so lets go ! Also the 12 supporters is a interesting way to do it ... The guy who do the party will be one of these 12 anyway so ...

We have to start fast, lets keep this post alive with donations/ideas/brainstorming !!
